It’s hard for me to pin down what it is that I do specifically, I’m more of a jack of some trades and a master of none. What I do on-line is rather simple when you break it down. To put it simply, I Build & Maintain Websites.
I use WordPress as a CMS all of my work. There are many specific reasons why, but in the end all of my work and development has gone towards a single Parent Theme framework that can be customized via Child Themes. The point of all this is to have a single hub for my development while offering a stable theme platform along the way. (something I’d like to thank the WP developers for fully implementing in wp2.7)
In today’s web it’s all about staying on the cutting edge and keeping a social presence that has transparency. A lot of people will quickly mistake “Transparency” with inviting random strangers into their personal digital life. While the truth is that “Transparency” is a “Mode of Conversation” not weather an acquaintance knows your personal details.
My Short Term Goals are the Development of my Theme, Development of my Community & the Life Style in which I surround my self.
My long term goals are to “Expand Networks of Contacts and Colleagues” with the concept of having anything web available with in a single email. Weather or not I stay directly involved with every project that comes across my desk, I feel it’s common sense to pass along a project to someone with an equal or greater standard.
So that’s my balloon of hot air, it seems to float a little high in the sky for me but with out some sort of lofty goals the daily grind becomes nothing more than just a grind.
