The two that I heard were “Backslide” and “Stumble”… I don’t think I’ve heard those since high school chapel in the the gym.

Are their any Christian Cliché’s that make you chuckle when you hear them?
Im not trying to discredit these words true meaning, but the fact that their Cliché makes them funny

Today I was approached by a guy in a Marines uniform. He came up all casual and started to talk about my scooter and seemed kind of interested in what it was all about. I was wrong, he was more interested in me.

I had no idea I still looked like I might have just gotten out of High School, or at least personified a personality of aimless wonderer. We started to talk and he quickly changed the subject from the scooter to the military. His first mistake was asking me when I graduated High School. I’ll give him credit because the instant he finished that question he must have read the look on my face and realized it was about the dumbest thing he could have asked.

I must have had a look of minor distaste in my expression because he quickly added, “at least a few years right”. Me, “Actually it’s been over ten years”. (with a small chuckle) Honestly I didn’t see this coming. I just assumed he was actually interested in my scooter.

In the end I had to tell him that I’ve been around long enough to know that I would never join the service and that I just didn’t have the personality.

I’m glad their are people out their willing to join the service and I’m glad that people are willing to do what ever it is that service guys do, but it’s not for me. I’ve just always thought that I wouldn’t have to explain that. This was the first time I’ve ever been approached by anyone trying to get me interested in the service. Unfortunately for this guy he’s not very good at reading his opponent, and I honestly think I might have been older than he was.

If who you are is reflective of what you’ve done and what you can do, than what you believe is probably being seen.

I always feel a little in the clouds when I say things like this, but I think in general as individuals we walk around thinking about life like this from time to time.

I think the difference between what is probably being seen and what is being seen, are those miniscule moments of time where you’re standing in line kicking that penny you’re looking at on the ground. Or, it’s that moment where you just can’t take it anymore and storm out of line with your arms flopping around in disgust because junior can’t get his order out. Maybe it’s just that stupid red light thats always red when there is NO ONE around. But don’t forget the time when you stopped, smelled the rose and thought, “I actually just stopped to smell the roses” and then you laughed at yourself for it.

I think if I took all those moments in life and put them in a bag, as if each one was a lego piece, I could pull them out one by one and build something that would resemble a good life that beard fruit.

30 Days is a standard span of time, but if you had 30 months you could really plan.

I was just over at inWorship and was reading his post “Don’t Waste Your Time“. I’ve always enjoyed the 30days to live concept. Be sure to go and read.

After I read it I started to think of how much of a freak I would be acting like if I really only had 30days to live. I’d probably be running all over the place and babbling about all types of things trying to scramble to get it all done. Then I thought, 30 months would be a lot better. And the death at the end of 30 months would quick so no you’re not spending the time in the hospital or anything.

30 Months ‘hmmmm???’ 2.5yrs ‘hmmmm???’ What to do???

I’m not sure what I would really do with my last 30 days, or 30 months. I know this for sure, showing gratitude and giving thanks is never a waste. I think that is where I would start.

There were lots of great references to the other movies and just enough explanations about how thing came about to be as they are in the current movie.

One thing to remember when you watch this movie is that in the second one they dropped out of an air plain in a raft and landed on a mountain and then went down a river. So don’t get judgmental when they start to do some pretty outlandish things.

It was a fun movie to watch, and I wont ruin the ending for you.

Were watching Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade this evening. Saturday afternoon we are going to watch the New Movie, should be good. We’ve watched the first two movies and with the third movie completed we’ll be ready for the new one.

One thing that has me feeling good about the new movie is I noticed that they use the same “Punching” sound and the same “Cracking” sound for the whip. Thats a good sign.

I’ve been wondering, in about 15yrs when people look back at these movies and they decide to remake them. Will anyone be able to replace Harrison Ford? Seriously, I just don’t think anyone could replace him as Indi.

So far I think my favorite of the first three might be the first one, but it’s been a long time since I saw the Last Crusade. I’ll let you know.

Yes, I'll admit it, I like this show.

So I just got done watching the first show, and I have to say that half way through I thought, “this is crap“. Honestly there were a few good reasons to keep the TV on, but in the end Jenny really likes it so we kept going. For those of you that might see some time after tonight, the last guys is cool.

i know Im a dork for writing this post

Pre-show↓

Yes Thats right, I do like this show. It does have its lame points, but in the end the people who are still there are really good. It’s not like other retard reality shows, the person that wins will probably really deserve it. It actually take some talent to win this one.

The only thing I really don’t like is that lady that screams a lot.
