August of 2008

I woke up this morning realizing that it’s August, and this year is closer to the finish than the start. We all do it now and then, we wake up one day and go, “crap, time flies”.

I get paid well, dont have to put up w/ any BS and I make my own hours some of the time.. I am Very Thankful and Bessed to have and love my work…

BTW, Cheese cake and Fairies = Gay deasert

  2. August always made me feel like i had to seize every moment because i knew school was starting soon so my freedom was about to be limited.  I guess in a lot of ways i feel very similar today because i will soon be back on a plane to Chinaville.  And August is hot.

    My birthday! Weee!

  4. August rocks!  August is my oldest niece’s birthday, my parents’ anniversary, my grandparent’s anniversary, one step away from fall (my favorite season), and back to school savings!

  5. End of Summer…family birthdays…very hot…a lot of the things you said I guess randy…I always looked forward to the end of the paving season while I was doing that during the summers…I think I ate a rootbeer float a day at the arco when it was hotter…I am not a big fan of August, I guess…

  6. August means very long hot days, the end of summer (sad, I never looked forward to school starting), swimming at the pool with my sister, my sister’s birthday (same day as your dads) and long, sleepless nights (due to the extreme heat of Auburn.) Yeah, I’m not the biggest fan of August either.

Soon it will mean my daughter’s birthday too.

  7. August means travel…. 6 days out west (San Diego, LA, Portland, Seattle)…..3 days in the OK…..3 days in NY…..12 days away from my wife and two kids…..

  8. Klaus turns 1!  You better watch out he’s walking and he’s big!  He’s a couple pounds off Serenity.
