Welcome – VisualComa v3.1.0

So here it is,,, this is where I’ve been for the last few days. Slaving away till all hours of the night, brain storming and typing like a Stenographer on crack…(you know you love it)

So this is VisualComa v3.1.0 and I like it… It’s not a huge diviation from the last design, but its a little more fresh and simple. I wanted the visual focus to be more directed to the posted content. I guess that mean I should put some real content in here then… Another point of interest was to freshen things up by using a relaxing font when possible. Apple Casual is a great font, one of my favorites.

Other News

As I mentioned the other day I actually bought my own Scooter. It’s a Honda Ruckus 50cc, yes that’s the weakest cc I could have gotten apart from getting a pocket bike. but seriously who would I be kidding if I were to get a real motor cycle… I’m pretty sure I would kill myself or lay it down on my foot right in the middle of town and have to be drug out from under it. Then some old lady with saggy nylon tights would come over to see if I was O.K. and I would accidentally look up her dress… So lets just forget about getting a motor cycle. I don’t like what I’m thinking about.

What else is new…

mika.jpgIn relation to what else I’ve been doing, mostly typing but also listening to some sweet tunes. One in particular that I got was ‘Grace Kelly‘ from Mika… I freaking love this song, and for some reason they remind me of Queen. oh and don’t ask why, but I’ve really been into the Shiny Toy Guns, weird I know…

Nuff said for now,,, I promise I’ll get some good video of the Scooter in action (biscuet), maybe even a wheely. just for you Wine… I’m building a mount on the front for my camera, so, good time are coming…

Take it easy :-)

  1. My husband has a pocket bike, and our brother in law has a mini chopper. They seem to have a lot of fun with those (when not riding the adult-sized ones)!!!

Congrats on the new purchase. I’m sure you’ll save some money on gas.

  2. How fast will that thing go?

I like the apple casual choice. Especially as a new mac user. It is a relaxing font.

  3. Before moving to China i had a Honda Metro II (50cc). That thing was awesome. And after a few months of having it i learned how to do a wheelie. It’s a little dangerous so make sure you’re comfortable with the scooter first, but then i would love to see a video of this…. what you do is sit on it with the kick stand down and pull back on the throttle to get the back wheel spinning freely and then while the wheel is spinning pretty fast (not full throttle), just lean back real quick and that wheel will catch on the ground and throw the front tire up in the air and it will come off the kickstand and you’ll be ready to roll. if you do it right and don’t end up on your head then it’s hilarious and a lot of fun. Be careful though, i’m not responsible for anything crazy that might happen. Enjoy!

  4. I’m diggin this bro, although, I wish there was an easier way to leave a comment. I had to search around for the comment bubble before I realized that was the way to do it, unless I’m missing something?

Yay Mika! I’m glad I sent it to you as it’s been so instrumental to designing your new page (which looks really good).

  6. Annie – I can only imagine the trouble they’ve gotten into.

Tyler – It does about 45mph down hill, 40mph flat and 25mph up hill.

Biscuet – umm, not sure I really want to try that just yet as I only recently paid for it. Maybe in a year or so i’ll try your way.

CJ – Thanks for the compliment, and I was debating on the comment placement. I’ll probably put it up top fairly soon. Although you can click on the title as well and get the same result.

Jenny – Oh hell yeah, Mika rules!!! Thanks a million + 1…

  7. I think you need to name it and get a great colored helmet. Just to keep things fun. Our scooter was stolen and I still miss it. So, sad. make sure to keep it locked up.

  8. Didn’t Norm buy one of those as well or was he just talking about it…Too bad you guys don’t live close enough to each other you could look like a pair of gas conserving dorks on those things…then there would be me trailing like a million miles behind on my bicycle.

  9. Jessie – I’ll be sure to keep an eye on it…

Jon – I don’t know if he has one yet… And I’m not sure if I’m ready to be in a Scooter gang… Course Dad could be there with his Harley and make us feel stupid.

  10. nice.. i’m workin on getting a scooter lately too :)
