Here they are, these are the boxes I sent to Brody today.
I’ve never really thought of myself as a person who moved a lot. I guess that is until I moved to Portland. Since I’ve lived in the Portland area I have moved 4 times, and now here I am doing it again. I decided this time that I wasn’t going to fool around. I just tossed all the things that I haven’t touched in a long time and kept the things of value and personal interest.
I’ve also got two backpacks, but all in all I think I did a good job. Only thing is, now I’m wondering if I should have kept more, but I think it’s refreshing in a way to only have what I really want and need.

So how many boxes of stuff did you toss?
Dude right before I got married I moved out of my place and lived on the road for a while, I tossed most everything, and I don’t really miss any of it!
all in all I would say i got rid of about 5 or six boxes worth of crap, my bed, dresser and a lot of stupid clothes.
the biggest debate was my guitar and my old computer. the guitar was only worth like $25 anyway, and my friend really need a computer so I thought that would be cool for him.
Each time I move I whittle things down by throwing things out or donating them to a single mother charity. I always end up replacing what I gave away with new “stuff”. I find it interesting that we can justify a need for just about anything. Stuff somehow makes us feel better about where we are in life.
