That is lightning quick Randy… Personally, I like to treat my body like a temple of the Lord, and running gives Jesus motion sickness. That is why he walked not ran. So I don’t run.
The last time I ran a mile, I ran most of it then walked for a bit then ended it running again, so I didn’t do as good as I wanted to. 11 minutes 28 seconds.
I don’t know how fast I can run 1 mile, but I ran a half marathon a couple months ago in 2:09.
I’m sure if I divided my time by my miles I’d figure out what my average mile is, but I don’t do math.
I don’t know if your a seasoned runner or just starting out, but I highly recommend signing up for a race. It’s really fun, I know it might not sound like fun, but there’s such community and encouragement in the race atmosphere. There are 1 mile fun runs and 5k’s and such.
Congrats on running, but please return the shorts. :-)

The last mile I ran was probably 10 minutes or something. That was a long time ago. I can run much faster from running a mile.
